Dawn Damned

Dawn News is a television of which I was proud. I am still proud but the intensity has decreased for sure. I mean what are the doing with it. I don’t see the same credibility and effort. They are putting nonsense glamor based shows like No Reservations and showing paid advertisement of showing how great was benazir. The First Blast has lost its charm. Breakfast at Dawn has Ayeshah Alam in it which is great but Faisal Qureshi.. no where. Though I think he is also overrated like Talat Hussain.

It is the time to wake up for DAWN itself or else we won’t be seeing dawn again; a complete darkness.

 

COKE STUDIO

Okay If you don’t know I pretty much follow Indian music and I don’t have any about confessing that I actually like it. Most of the stuff is gross because they produce a lot of films therefore a lot of songs but there are some gems also, especially the old ones and some really soulful new ones.

I mean Indian Idol is more of an insult to reality tv and more insult to talent. Aisha Sayed got voted out. She was my favorite, she could have been on top. My oh my, what voice mashallah se she has, great vocal range and mesmerizing personality. Bichari ko top 10 tak main nahi aaney diya. Actually she is not an cheap Indian Idol material. She didn’t show off, neither she did all the fake nakhras. I mean her songs were beautiful because of her, they way she made every song her own. You can easily differentiate the songs that she sang in her own unique way from the originals and fortunately fall in love with it. Btw I was so in love with her eyes and smile.. I know it sounds cheesy. Btw the song she sang is the ultimate curse song.. why? Because whoever sings that song gets voted out even if they sing it well =p

They better see the voice and soul, and not dramas.

My top 10: Aisha, Puja, Charu, Meiyang, Emon, Abhishek(if takes off his lousy cap), Smita, Prashant, Amit/Bhavnik/Anish/Deepali(I haven’t listen them much but they look promising), Shifa.

I am sad.

I am not prepared.

Earth Day Special

Nat Geo is showing some hard-hitting, eye-opening and interesting documentries from 10 till midnight today as Earth Day Special so just run to the tv and have some knowledge about the mother nature and its children.

But before that read this How Karachi celebrated the Earth Day? and mourn.

 

Mujhe koi es Gutter se nikalo!

The worst thing happened to ‘Media and Information’ in few past years is PEMRA and PTA. PEMRA has done a complete satyanas of Television Channels by allowing them to air everything undesirable including saas bahu dramas and banning all that which should be showed like opinions on the current justice drama. Whereas, PTA is already famous from banning everything blindly. This is so sad that our higher authorities don’t have brains enough to do things strategically and sanely. Those authorities just want to protect government’s image in e-burkhas which never work. Saarey blogs ko ban kardiya hadh hogayi. Loose Motions!

Enlightened Moderation, my foot, see the language of Law Minister with all the freedom of dirty speech and when it comes to general public’s freedom of speech, it is completely absent. Even if you want to write or speak responsibly and honestly kick/ban/shameshame is all you’ll get. And what has happened now, has even taken all the respect I had for our president. Though he has done alot for the country but with Double standards, Kachra!

In all this mess uper se, this DIS-’connect communications’ DSL has done all the khanakharab of my blog. I can’t access it without proxy and I am completely outdated and started to lose interest. Allah janey humlogon ka kya hoga?
